Why now
The single-use plastic era is ending for hospitality too 2026 නීති
Two 2026 changes hit hotel purchasing at once: uncertified plastic bottles can no longer be sold in Sri Lanka, and single-use plastic bottles are banned in government premises — with guests and reviewers increasingly reading plastic as cheap. Properties that used to hand out small plastic water bottles are moving to a refill-and-reuse model: sturdy glass in rooms, service bottles in restaurants, steel where breakage risk is high.
Our public price research and SLS rules guide are open to everyone. The sourcing service exists for properties whose requirement is counted in cases, not bottles.

Material choices
Glass, steel, or both? වීදුරුද ස්ටීල්ද?
Glass — rooms & restaurants
Heavy in the hand, photographs well, shows it's clean, washes sterile. The premium feel guests notice. Needs a handling routine (and a caddy or sleeve in rooms with hard floors).
Stainless steel — staff & outdoors
Unbreakable, logo engraves well, survives housekeeping carts and pool decks. 304 for most uses; 316 worth discussing for beachfront properties.
Branding
Your property's name on the bottle ඔබේ නම බෝතලයේ
A property-branded bottle turns a utility into a detail guests photograph. Logo printing or laser engraving is usually possible, depending on bottle type, quantity and the manufacturing partner — we confirm what's actually achievable for your specification before anything is promised. Options are outlined on the custom bottles page.
